if you are asking me what you are about to hear in "As Yggdrasil Trembles" the answer is very simple: Another UNLEASHED album, followed by the band's great performance and inspiration! Classic 90's death metal forms, hammering rhythms, polemic atmosphere, classic brutal vocal lines, groovy riffing as much in the mid such in the up tempo and all the above under a crystal production. The thing that makes this band original is the fact that UNLEASHED is beyond commercialism, catchy songs and big sales. They just do what they can do best and this is to play good death metal, from the time when this genre was new, till now that is called old school. The special edition has one bonus track, a Death (RESPECT!!) cover of "Evil Dead"; this cover honors the band, at least to me! "As Yggdrasil Trembles" is powerful, original and raw. I'm sure that the older deathsters among with the new ones shall enjoy this release! Limited edition with one bonus track.
