It's 13 January 2010; Michael Schenker is giving the starting signal for a spectacular world tour to celebrate MSG's 30th birthday. Voice murmurs, music from the tape, illuminated monitors on the mixing console. When, after a good minute, the tone goes out at the Nakano Sun Plaza in Tokyo, the expectant murmur in the sold-out hall gives way to a delighted outcry. A long-lasting bass tone increases the tension - and suddenly the man everyone is waiting for is standing at the edge of the stage: Michael Schenker. With a completely new sound, a technique that Michael himself invented, he plays the Welcome Howl, which is promptly enthusiastically reciprocated by his fans in the hall. Michael elicits a few powerful runs from his distinctive Flying V guitar, and then it really starts.
