KEITH CHRISTMAS had a respected and acclaimed career prior to signing to ELP's MANTICORE label in 1973. He had played guitar on DAVID BOWIE's "Space Oddity" album and had recorded three albums for RCA Records and B&C Records before arriving at MANTICORE to record the album "BRIGHTER DAY" for the label. Featuring a host of guest musicians such as former KING CRIMSON members IAN WALLACE, MEL COLLINS and IAN MacDONALD and produced by GREG LAKE and PETE SINFIELD, the album was both imaginative and varied and enjoyed a world wide release bringing Keith's music to a wider audience. Enjoying a series of prestigious support slots for artists such as THE WHO, FRANK ZAPPA and ROXY MUSIC, Keith recorded a clutch of singles and a second album for Manticore, "STORIES FROM THE HUMAN ZOO" in 1976 in California. A polished work, the album featured contributions from noted Stax session musicians STEVE CROPPER and DONALD "DUCK" DUNN and SNUFFY WALDEN from fellow Manticore act STRAY DOG. This anthology has been re-mastered from the original analogue master tapes and includes every track from both of Keith's Manticore albums, rare singles and three previously unissued out-takes from the "BRIGHTER DAY" sessions. "TOMORROW NEVER ENDS" is a fine tribute to a fine musician.
