As I am a rock completest, I felt I must delve into the Black Metal scene. At first, the grunts, growls ,and the extreme death screams irritated me. But after awhile I got desensitized to it, and actually began to like some death/Black Metal. Anyways on to the review; this Quathorn m'fer is pure genius. The lyrics and song titles show real writing skill. And as a composer and musician, he is one of if not the best. "A fine Day to Die" alone is a must in any serious metal maniac's collection. The drums sound like they are flailed by chains; the guitar riffs sent from down below; fuckin aye, this motherfucker can kick it out!
