Anyone into Viking/Folk Metal should have no problem absorbing the greatness of this newest MÅNEGARM release although I find these guys are a lot more aggressive and forceful than many of the other bands in this style. This disc is rather short clocking in under 35 minutes which I don´t like but at the same time can appreciate the fact that every song is very "to the point" and explosive. They don´t waste time with long, drawn out compositions, that´s for certain. The urge to headbang is overwhelming as are the destructive riffs coupled with sharp melodies, growling death vocals and mesmerizing violins. Features solid production and alternation between fast, almost Speed/Thrash Metal, especially in the speedster of a track "Vrede" and mid-paced tempos. Excellent album! If you don´t have the craving to drink a beer after the closing track there´s something wrong with you.
