Superb 24 track anthology of rare material by this Manchester based trio featuring the original 12 songs from their 1972 self-titled LP on the Indigo label plus a further 12 tracks from the band's archives with expanded line-up including haunting female vocals. Originally led by ex-Temperance Seven singer 'Whispering' Paul McDowell, Guggenheim's style of music straddled folk, pop-psych and vaudeville with stoner elements, making them a truly unique band. Comes with full band history penned by Pete Sarfas together with rare pictures etc. This is the first legitimate CD release and we are proud to offer such a well-crafted and delightful period piece that fully encapsulates the entire history of this little-known group.
