It seems instrumental metal music is on the rise these and Jet Black Sea another oufit that likes to keep vocals (sampled ones excluded) out of the equation. Here we have their first album called The Path Of Least Existence. Dreamy music with guitars weeping like Pink Floyd in their heydays, noise experimentation and shards of minimalist piano. The most impressive part of this album is the fact it all blends seamlessly into each other in very natural way and manages to keep you interested and enthralled even during the most minimal passages. There is a certain kind of hopeful threat to this music that is really fascinating. Progressive by its arrangements and comfortable through its ingredients The Path Of Least Existence is an impressive debut by this Dutch based outfit. Fans of Ulver, Pink Floyd and even Massive Attack may rejoice. - See more at: http://www.lordsofmetal.nl/en/reviews/view/id/26337#sthash.bap4Mb0V.dpuf
