"Never Arrive, Never Return" marks a return (after 13 years without an album release) to the ferocious death metal roots of Cadaverous Condition. The album is a relentless assault on the senses, offering a mix of epic tracks, haunting half-ballads, brutal outbursts and groovy songs interwoven with the band's trademark cryptic lyrics.
Formed in Austria in the early 90s, Cadaverous Condition has forged a unique path in extreme metal. While their vocals remained rooted in death metal, they experimented with various influences, covering artists such as The Sisters of Mercy and collaborating with acts such as Nurse With Wound, Thighpaulsandra, Tobias Nathaniel (The Black Heart Procession) and Herr Lounge Corps. They also ventured into an art project with Bill Drummond (The KLF), sending a specially made CD and a message in a bottle from the shores of Iceland. Despite these "experiments", Cadaverous Condition have remained true to their core: extreme metal with a unique and reflective style.
