The last concert of Grateful Dead fifty years have passed since their formation, 20 since their last concert for now. On July 9, 1995, the Grateful Dead took the stage at Chicago's historic Soldier Field for the last time before their frontman Jerry García died of a heart attack just a month later. The band announced their split before the end of December that year. On July 3, 4 and 5, 2015, the Grateful Dead reunited at the same venue where they had played their last gig in 1995. With "Grateful Dead: Fare Thee Well (Live Best Of)" there is now a comprehensive compilation of the legendary concert on July 5, on two CDs, two DVDs and two Blu-rays.
