A near-masterpiece of propulsive, stripped down, melodic, high octane rock and roll. While Go Girl Crazy! is often recognized as a pioneering proto-punk album, Bloodbrothers should be the one this band's reputation is staked on. From its cover art, reminiscent of an early 80's exploitation flick, to the raw power in the grooves, this album delivers like a club to the head. Some seem to think the Dic's dispensed with the humor on this one but it's still there, just subtler, and, consequently, funnier. And while aggressive in its approach, Bloodbrothers is never short on massive hooks to get your pulse pounding.
