As I listen to this I can't help but think about Steamhammer and the atmosphere that is created by the guitar wall-of-sound echoing through the studio. This record has a lot of character and charm nonetheless. The lead singer is excellent, and at times reminds me of a lounge club Dave Clayton Thomas. Definitely worth a spin especially if you have a FEEL for your blues...
