Voyageur = LP = (LP)
Enigma is considered one of the most successful music projects of all time. Launched in 1990 by musician and composer Michael Cretu, the project counts more than 70 million worldwide album sales, countless #1 placements, and more than 100 platinum awards
All eight studio albums, originally released between 1990 and 2016, were released in 2018 in a limited edition color vinyl edition and with explicitly redesigned artwork. Due to enormous fan demand, there will now be a reissue of the complete Enigma studio catalog on black vinyl. The artwork will have a special metallic look and will be pressed on 180g. In parallel, the compilation "Love Sensuality Devotion: The Greatest Hits", released in 2001, will also be released on vinyl
Michael Cretu, born in Bucharest in 1957, came to Germany in the mid-70s. Although he was a classically trained concert pianist, he soon turned to pop music and worked with, among others, Boney M. After his first successful steps as a soloist, he decided to pull the strings as a producer and composer. His breakthrough came with the debut single "Maria Magdalena". At the end of the 1980s, he began to seek new musical paths and created the Enigma project. With a conceptual mix of atmospheric soundscapes and multi-faceted instrumental colors, he led the genre of electronic music onto new, successful paths.
