Blackfield = LP = (LP)
Blackfield is a side project from Porcupine Tree guru Steven Wilson and Israeli solo artist ???? ??? [Aviv Geffen]. I don't know much about Geffen's work (aside from the fact this collaboration has grappled and reworked a few of his solo tracks), but i'm rather familiar with much of Wilson's work. All told, Blackfield doesn't fall far from the tree (pun intended), with the conditional that they tend not to stray to the same experimental extremes as much else i've heard from Wilson. The general line on this is that this is what you get when Wilson attempts pop music.
