Goats Head Soup is not only my favorite Stones album but also my favorite album period. Like many other Stones fans, I would say that Sticky Fingers or Exile on Main St. is probably the best album, critically, journalisticaly, and historically. But Goats Head Soup is the one Stones album that I, as a Stones fan, love from top to bottom. The whole album is a joy to behold, even when it is at its melancholy in "Coming Down Again," "Winter," and "100 Years Ago."
