First time Pain Confessor as a band produced their vision without outside help. Thus it is raw, absolute and honest. Listener can hear what has been played on the record and by whom. This approach definitely added some required tribulation to the sound. Members gave their ultimate best on this album. There are no selfish displays of skill but working parts that murderously drive the songs toward the inevitable end. The band went through immense pressure in studio. Fortunately, diamonds are created in high pressure. Now Purgatory of the Second Sun is Pain Confessor's shiniest.
