If John Lee Hooker, Kyuss and Janis Joplin had a baby, can you imagine how ugly that little alcoholic infant would be? Fortunately, South Australian quartet Kitchen Witch can hold their liquor long enough to write some booty shakin' bluesy stoner grooves. Recently, Kitchen Witch have signed with Kozmik Artifacts for a European vinyl release of selected tracks from their two previous EPs. Having shared the stage alongside many excellent bands (including The Sword, Tex Perkins, Bob Log III, La Bastard, The Royal Artillery, Filthy Lucre, The Floors, The Fumes, Rat Ta'Mango), Kitchen Witch continue to go from strength to strength with a powerful twist of blues, gospel, roots, country, punk, 70's rock and stoner doom.
